Opvolger van Adrianus Augustinus van Dijck.
Gijsbertus Ouwerogge was eerst Kapelaan in Montfoort vanaf 11 februari 1724, vanaf september 1725 was hij Kapelaan in De Duif in Amsterdam bij Pastoor Schouwen. In 1726 assisteerde hij de zieke Pastoor P. Cos in Het Maagdenhuis, waarna hij weer terugging naar De Duif. Op 18 aoril 1727 werd hij Kapelaan in Maarssen en vanaf 9 juni 1730 Pastoor in Naarden en hij heeft vanaf 1 november 1751 in het ene jaar dat hij op het Begijnhof het ambt vervulde veel voor de Begijnen en het Begijnhof gedaan.
Van hem hangt in de Regentenkamer der pastorie een ovaal schilderij 75 cm hoog en 62 cm breed, dat in 1995 is gerestaureerd door het atelier van J.H. van Litsenburg.
Hij werd opgevolgd door Mgr. M.J. de Roeper.
