Kok in Den Haag. In 1920 kreeg hij een baan bij een grossierderij in Koloniale Waren, Firma Gebr. Geenen te Den Haag. Daar werkte hij tot 1962 als expeditiechef totdat hij wegens ziekte (Parkinson) werd afgekeurd; zv. Jan en Grietje Nannes Galema (Bolsward). Na hun huwelijk vertrok het echtpaar vanuit Amsterdam naar Den Haag op 14-11-1922 en ging ald. wo.: Brandstraat 172, Beijerstraat (1917), Soestdijksekade, Aarnout Drostlaan. Uit dit huwelijk:
