(RA Kethel en Spaland inv.84, nr.801 fol.228 d.d. 10.12.1642; RA Kethel en Spaland, inv.132, nr.37 fol.156, d.d. 5.11.1645), koopt op 2.7.1608 van Sijtgen Ridders weduwe van Jacob Fredericxz Noorlander een woning als huis, schuur, barg en geboomte in het dorp Kethel op het land van Cornelis Duijst van Santen, waarvan omtrent 25 morgen bruikwaar behorende verschillende eigenaren, die de koper in huur zal overnemen, zoals de verkoopster dit zelf heeft gebruikt, borgen zijn Pieter Jansz Slooff en Jan Jacobsz Noorlander (RA Kethel en Spaland inv.91, 120 fol.103v; ibid. nr.121 fol.104, z.d.), wordt op 5.11.1608 gedaagd door Vranck Willemsz Verbael in verband met het verongelukken en verdrinken van een van Verbael’s paarden toen deze op verzoek van Slooff met een aantal andere paarden van het land van Slooff gelegen langs de kerklaan werden verjaagd (RA Kethel en Spaland inv.84, nr.258 fol.61v, d.d. 5.11.1608; ibid. nr.265 fol.62, d.d. 3.12.1608; ibid. nr.267 fol.62v, d.d. 17.12.1608; ibid. nr.272 fol.63v, d.d. 21.1.1609; ibid. nr.278, fol.64v, d.d. 18.3.1609; ibid. nr.286 fol.66 d.d. 1.4.1609), is gebruiker van land langs de kerklaan dat in het bezit is van Cornelis Duijst van Santen (RA Kethel en Spaland inv.84, nr.401 fol.92, d.d. 29.6.1611), zn. van Pieter Jansz Slooff, tr. 1e Vlaardingen (stadstrouw) 23.5.1607 met Sijtgen Jans, weduwe van Commer Ewoudsz, afkomstig van Vlaardingerambacht, overl. voor 16.1.1613, dr. van Jan Jacobsz Noorlander en waaruit twee kinderen (OA Kethel en Spaland inv.84, nr.476 fol.117 d.d.16.1.1613), tot voogden over de twee weeskinderen worden benoemd Jan Jacobsz Noorlander grootvader en Jacob Jansz Hoijcaes oudoom van de weeskinderen (RA Kethel en Spaland inv.84, nr.482 fol.119, d.d. 27.2.1613), tr. 2e met
