Op 21 Juni 1791 is er een testament opgemaakt bij notaris Jan Hubrecht Leufrink, bekend onder nummer 166, te Rotterdam.

Zowel Johannes als Cornelia konden niet schrijven en hebben de akte met een kruisje "ondertekend".
De inhoud was zeer simpel, het zei: dat geen van beide meer dan 2000,00 gulden hadden en dat de langst levende voor de kinderen zou zorgen.
