Gebeurtenis (Children).
Joan;
I've been trying to find a connection between Hannah CORBIN (daughter of Lyman and Lucretia) and Jedediah and Hannah CORBIN (Page 46 of Lawson's CORBIN Genealogy).
Jedediah's son, Lyman, b.1787, ties in nicely with the second Hannah's birth year, 1829 (Lyman could be her father). Both the Jedediah CORBIN and Lyman Babcock families moved from Ohio to Iowa. Also, it would be logical for the second Hannah to be named for her grandmother. Jedediah's son, Lyman, probably was born in Dudley, Massachusetts--which ties in with the Babcock paragraph, below. I have been unable to find Lucretia CORBIN's maiden name, nor have I been able to confirm she was born in Vermont. I haven't found anything (other than the paragraph below) that confirms Lyman and Lucretia lived in Knox County, Ohio or Washington County, Iowa. I'd call Hannah a "possible connection" with Jedediah.

In 1807, the Connecticut Land Company had made a division of their lands west of the Cuyahoga River... In 1810, this property, known now as Harrisville Township, and a part of Westfield was surveyed into lots of 100 acres each... Mr. Harris at once made a visit to the new country; and, selecting a site for his cabin, went home, to return in the following year with his family and effects. He was joined in his new home, in June of 1811, by ... and a little later by Calvin and Lyman CORBIN from Boston, Mass...
pp. 485- 486 HARRISVILLE TOWNSHIP...
On the next morning, the 14th day of February, 1811, the ox-teams arrived in Harrisville, and Mr. Joseph Harris, his wife and child... settled permanently in the new township; and it is from this day that the first settlement of Harrisville Township dates...
With June of the same year there came an accession to the new colony. George Burr and his wife and his brother, Russell, arrived that month from Litchfield County, Conn., and settled on a lot adjoining Mr. Harris. The month of September brought in two more settlers, Calvin and Lyman CORBIN, from the city of Boston, Mass., who purchased and settled on the farm now owned by George Burr, a mile south of Lodi... The Harrisville colony now consisted of five men, two women, and two boys. There were three log huts about one-half mile apart from each other, seven yoke of oxen and one horse and two dogs, with a lot of household furniture and farming tools and wagons. This was the inventory on the 1st day of October, 1811.
