Note:
Fannie Weeldryer arrived at Monroe, South Dakota in March 1904. She and a professors's daughter, were the first girls to attend (integrated) Dubuque University at that time, an Academy. Mrs. Heyer was honored at the 1964 homecoming and reunion ceremonies at the 50 year queen. Because of frail health she was unable to attend the 60 year activities. Mrs Heyer had resided at the Arnold Nursing home in Adrian, Minnesota since May 1971.
