Larry B. Traver, 68, of Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg, died at his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. He was seriously ill since May, 2008. Born in Noxen, Wyoming County on March 12, 1940, he was a son of Geraldine (Shultz) Traver, Millville, and the late Emray Traver. He resided in Lime Ridge for six years and formerly lived in Danville for 13 years. Larry was a truck driver for New Penn Motor Express, Milton, for 24½ years, retiring in May of 2002. For the past year, he drove part-time for L&H Trucking, Bloomsburg. He was a member of the Teamsters Local, Milton. He was of the United Methodist faith. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, camping, fishing trips to Delaware, family vacations and annual trips to Myrtle Beach, S.C. with his wife. He was
preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Traver, on June 14, 2006. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, the former Alicia J. Michael, with whom he celebrated his 17th wedding anniversary on June 9, 2008; 12 children, David Traver, Pittston; Vicky Scudillo, Honesdale; Christopher Traver, Dallas; Larry
Traver Jr.; Jerry Lee Traver; Tracy Traver; George Traver Jr. and his wife, Wanda, Bloomsburg; Thomas Traver and his wife, Stacy, Coal Township; Genevieve Erlston, Washingtonville; Shirley and her husband, Kenneth Kachurka, Berwick; Matthew Traver and his wife, Diane, Millville; James Benninger, Berwick;
numerous grandchildren; and a great-grandson; five brothers, George Traver and his wife, Sandy,Millville; Donald Traver and his wife, Judith, Falls; Thomas Traver and his wife, Pam, Lightstreet; Mark Traver and his wife Giovanna, Warren Center; and Leonard Traver and his wife, Nancy, Mehoopany. _Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor, Henrickson-Mooresburg United Methodist Churches, officiating. Interment will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends may call on Monday from noon to 2 p.m.
