Promotie te Harderwijk 1677 op het chirurgische proefschrift De gclngmenrl et sphacelo ex oriundis (op dezelfde dag als Johannesvan der Burcht uit Middelburg, die in de rechten promoveerde). Lid collegium circa 1677. Was volgens boekenlijst uit 1746 'Eerste Stadsdocter & terAdmiraliteit'. Begraven in de Oude Kerk. Woonde bij overlijden in de Sint Pieterstl"aat.
