Sjoerd Douwes (SJOERD DOUWES), schipper te Bergum, oud 29 jaar, verklaart dat
hij op 3 dezer met zijn schip te Amsterdam lag; is met zijn vrouw gegaan naar
het schip van zijn vader Douwe Martens (DOUWE MARTENS), die ook aldaar lag;
naderhand kwamen ook zijn broer Marten Douwes (MARTEN DOUWES) en nog enige
anderen aldaar, onder wie Sipke Pieters (SIPKE PIETERS), de knecht van Albert
Johannes (ALBERT JOHANNES), verzoekende 14 stuivers voor het kopen van mosterd.
Toen getuige weer bij zijn schip kwam was er ingebroken en bleken veel goederen
te zijn gestolen; kort daarop hebben Albert Johannes, Oeble Abrahams (OEBELE
ABRAHAMS), de knecht van Douwe Martens en Teye Clazes (TEIE KLASES), de knecht
van Marten Douwes, de bewuste Sipke Pieters aangetroffen in "een hoerhuis" en
hem naar getuiges schip gebracht; Sipke heeft bekend, maar van de gestolen
goederen is niets teruggevonden en Sipke heeft zich inmiddels "geabsenteerd"
- verklaring van Uilkjen Johannes (UILKJE JOHANNES), 22 jaar, vrouw van Sjoerd
Douwes en zuster van Albert Johannes; Sipke Pieters is woonachtig te Bergum
- idem van Albert Johannes, 27 jaar, schipper te Suameer
- idem van Oeble Abrahams, oud 24 à 25 jaar, wonende op 't Vliet bij Leeuwarden
