1856, molenaar aldaar op de wind- en watermolen, trouwde er op 27

april 1885 met Maria Antonia Brigitta van den Heuvel. Zij is geboren

te Baarle-Nassau op 5 april 1862 als dochter van de geneesheer Johannes

Dominicus van den Heuvel en van Anna Emiliana T
ubbax. Financieel

ging het Gerardus de Visscher niet voor de wind. In 1894 leende hij ƒ 6000

van Kerstens uit Tilburg, een jaar later ƒ 6000 van Johannes Hendrik Janssen

uit genoem
de stad en in 1896/4000 van zijn vader. Steeds werd

de hypotheek genomen op windgraan- en watermolen. In 1903 werd opnieuw

een lening genomen op de windmolen, nu van ƒ 3500; geldschieter

was Johannes Botermans, steenfabrikant te Gilze en schoonvader van de

Goirlese burgemeester Rens. Dezelfde dag dat de lening werd verstrekt,

werd de watermolen bij bijbehorende grond
voor ƒ 3000 verkocht aan Botermans.

Nieuwe leningen op de windmolen zouden hebben geleid tot het

faillissement van Gerard de Visscher, die met zijn gezin naar Rotterdam

verhuisde.
Na hem werd de molen gehuurd door zijn neef Benedictus de

Visscher, die rond 1920 eigenaar is geworden van een gedeelte van de

molen door koop van Johannes Botermans en Cornelis Moonen, de
hypotheekhouders

van Gerardus Benedictus de Visscher. Rond 1940 kwam

nog een derde deel van de molen en het in 1931 gebouwde molenhuis in

handen van Benedictus de Visscher door koop
van Piet de Brouwer. Door

De Visscher werd de molen in 1961 verkocht aan de gemeente Goirle.

4 Johanna Maria de Visscher is op 10 januari 1862 te Goirle geboren en

overleed daar op 27 april 1940. Zij trouwde te Goirle op 30 augustus

1886 met Adrianus Bernardus van Croonenbur
g, boekhouder en winkelier,

gedoopt te Goirle op 11 december 1853 en aldaar overleden op 9 februari

1931, zoon van Antonius Croonenburg en van Cornelia van Ravels.

5 Petrus, op 13 ju
li 1864 geboren te Goirle, daar overleden op 3 oktober

1864. item Petronella Elisabeth, te Goirle op 5 oktober 1865 geboren en

aldaar overleden op 31 januari 1866.

6 Maria, op 9 maar
t 1868 te Goirle geboren en er overleden op 22 april

1868.

7 Christina Maria, op IO juli 1870 geboren te Goirle, aldaar gestorven op l

december 1871.
