    Derck was vier keer getrouwd. De eerste twee vrouwen stierven iin het kraambed.
    De derde vrouw, Annecken, is de moeder van de nakomelingen van de Noten familie
    Annecken was een lid van de bekende Bossus familie.
    Met zijn vierde vrouw is hij getrouwd op oudere leeftijd.
    In 1613 moet hij een soort herbergier geweest zijn.
    Hij klaagt twee mense aan voor het niet betalen van 2 vaten bier.
    Op 29 December 1621 betaald de burgemeester aan Dirck Noot 4 gulden en 10 stuivers om met zijn schip en soldaten om naar Leuwen te varen om daar schade te veroorzakenbij de vijand.
    Op dat moment vocht Nederland tegen Spanje.
    Op 19 oktober 1624 ontvangt Derck licentie als een schipper.
    In 1632 wordt Derck tot commissionar van het ziekenhuis in Tiel.
    In 1634 is hij een getuige bij een doop van een kleindochter genaamd Anneke, en hij wordt genoemd als "Dirck de oudere"
