Notes about Petrus Boon

Ten gevolge van zijn verdienstelijk werk in de ondergrondseverzetbeweging werd hij op 23 januari 1945 door de Duitsers gegrepen, van de ene gevangenis naar de andere gebracht en ten slotte op 15 maart d.a.v. weggevoerd naar het concentratiekamp Neuegamme.
Toen de bevrijding kwam was hij te uitgeput voor de terugreis naar huis en overleed op 17 mei 1945 in het lazaret te Klotze (D) in de ouderdom van 54 jaar.
