Notes about Pieter Korver

In 1849 is hij getuige bij het tweede huwelijk van zijn oom Paulus Korver, zijn beroep is dan vrachtrijder en hij is verhuisd naar de Geest. In 1852 is hij opnieuw verhuisd, nu naar de Boekenlaan en in 1856 treffen we hem aan op het Singel. Dit jaar is een tragisch jaar, waarin op 13-1 een zoontje van een dag overlijdt en 3 dagen later zijn vrouw. Tien maanden later overlijdt nog een zoontje van 4 jaar. In 1858 blijft hij achter met twee kinderen, Arie 14 jaar en Elisabeth 8 jaar. Waarschijnlijk waren zij ondergebracht in het weeshuis omdat zijn zoontje Dirk daar in 1858 overlijdt, 9 jaar oud, blijkens aangifte door Johannes Stalenhoeff, 57 jaar vader van het RK Weeshuis op het Verdronkenoord 94.
Als 48 jarige man trouwt hij op 17-9-1865 met Aaltje Hendriks Schilder, waarbij zijn neef Pieter Korver als getuige optreedt. Hij woonde toen in de Achterstraat.
In 1869 treedt hij samen met zijn zoon Arie als getuige op bij de aangifte van de geboorte van een buitenechtelijk kind van zijn zoon, dat deze later zal erkennen.
