TERMAATEN, Hendrik (Henry/Henk) 1929 - 2018 On August 27, 2018 at the age of 88 surrounded by his wife and friends at Rapelje Lodge. Beloved husband of Lucy for 65 years. Cherished father of Clara (Duncan) and Linda (Willem) and dear grandfather of Brian (Emily) and Karen (Matthew). The second in a family of six, Henk is lovingly remembered in the Netherlands by sister Ina and in-laws Eefje, Adrie; Jan v F., Jan and Dick, Hennie and Maas, Riet and Ab, and 34 nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased in the Netherlands by his parents Cornelis and Klaasje; siblings and in-laws Gerrit and Bertha, Neeltje and Piet, Jan t M., Kees; his parents-in-law Wijnand and Maria; and in-laws Jannie, Frans, Janny, Wijnand; one nephew-in-law Wijnand v F. and one niece-in-law Marja. Hendrik came to Canada from the Netherlands in 1953. Henry was proud of the fact that he was a real estate broker for forty years. Hendrik himself and his family members are grateful for the splendid, loving care at Rapelje Lodge since November 2015. Visitation will be held at Zion Free Reformed Church, 1075 Boyle Road, Fenwick on Friday, August 31st from 3-7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the church on Saturday, September 1st at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, please consider a contribution to the charity of your choice or to Zion Free Reformed Church, Fenwick, with cards available at H.L. Cudney Funeral Home.
