Notes about Mary Johanna Sulkers

MARY JOHANNA KENDEL (SULKERS) November 12, 1917 - February 24, 2007 Age 89 years Survived by John, her dear husband of 67 years and daughters, Joanne Nosella (Roy), Maureen Sadang (Joe) and Rosemary Mosby (Don) and sisters, Winnie and Bernice.

Mary will be remembered with much love by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and church families. Mary was born and raised in Winnipeg and moved to Vancouver in 1952 where she and John were involved in the beauty industry for many years and resided in West Van and Langley.

The past three years, she and John lived in loving harmony at Dover House in Nanaimo. The family would like to thank the staff at Dover House for each act of loving kindness that was shown to Mary. She so appreciated the caring home she and John had there.

Mary lived a full and vibrant life, a caring mother and wife, capable leader, lover of her garden, tireless worker at her church and always ready with a humorous remark. We rejoice that she is now safe in the arms of her Jesus, free of suffering, waiting for the day we will be together again. Mom, we love you and will miss you so very much.
