Woonde in 1853 tijdens de geboorte aan het Zand te Zijpe. Geertje huwde in 1875 met Jacob Bommer ook te Zijpe. Er werden 10 kinderen binnen de 15 jaar geboren. Zoon Arie werd 3x geboren...De 1e Arie leefde maar ...29.. dagen, de 2e Arie (7jaar later) leefde maar .22 dagen.., De 3e Arie heeft de leeftijd van 75 jaar bereikt..
Geertruida heeft haar man na 33 jaar huwelijk verloren op de leeftijd van 58 jaar.. Met nog 3 minderjarige kinderen van : 16-18-20 jaar oud, en de 5 andere kinderen die al volwassen zijn blijft Geertje alleen achter.
De krasse Geertje blijft hierna nog 34 jaar weduwe en overlijd midden in de Wereld Oorlog II op ...88. jarige leeftijd te Zijpe.
