Cornelis "moest" wel trouwen met Guurtje, 6 weken na het huwelijksfeest werd Neeltje geboren...Tijdens het huwelijk : beroep: Boer, Arbeider en de woonplaats is Zijpe. Cornelis had bij het huwelijk de leeftijd van 25 jaar en Guurtje was net 20 jaar oud. Twee dochters en drie zonen maakten het gezin compleet. Zij haalden net het 20 jarig huwelijk, toen Guurtje kwam te overlijden op de leeftijd van 40 jaar oud. De kinderen van 9-14-15-20 jaar oud bleven met Cornelis van 45 jaar alleen achter. Cornelis is daarna nog 32 jaar weduwnaar geweest. Hij overleed op 76 jarige leeftijd te Schagen ...
