In januari 1813 verkoopt Jan Reuwerts (wonende in Munnekezijl) een huis met tuin in de gemeente Kollum (Fr) voor HFL. 735,00 aan Pieter Cornelis Hazekamp. In januari 1816 koopt Jan Rieuwerts een huis in MUnnekezijl van Jan Fokkes (wonende in Grijpskerk) voor HFL. 350,00.

Op 10-05-1835 leggen Jan Reuwerts en echtgenore Antje Jans Hoekstra de geloofsbelijdenis af en worden lidmaat van de Hervormde Gemeente Burum en Munnekezijl.

Op 10-05-1856 hertrouwt de 73-jarige Jan Reuwerts met de 48 jaar jongere (!!) Grietje Freerks Postema en kreeg met haar nog twee zonen (Freerk en Freerk) vanwie de eerste slechts 5 weken oud werd. Jan Reuwerts zelf overleed ruim 5 maanden na de geboorte van de tweede zoon Freerk.
