Klaas had 5 kinderen: Jan, Klaas, Gijs, Corrie, Jannie; de laatste 2 staan op foto's, gemaakt op het strand bij Zandvoort. Bracht in 1929 een bezoek aan Amerika en bracht 2 indonesische vazen mee.
