RAL-LvO 2136, 449: Op 9 januari 1773 verschenen Maria Gerets, weduwe Wilm Flippens, en haar zoon Geurt Flippens, gehuwd met Anna Catharina Tevissen, voor de schepenbank Vaesrade. Nadat zijn moeder afstand had gedaan van het recht op vruchtgebruik verkocht Geurt Flippens 54 1/2 kleine roeden weiland "in het gatsken" te Vaesrade, grenzend aan Nelis Schetjens en Joannes Mathijs Ritzen, belast met drie malder haver aan het kapittel van St.-Servatius, aan Joannes Mathijs Ritzen, gehuwd met Elisabeth Crijns. Elke kleine roede kostte 55 stuivers. [met dank aan Harry Luijten]
