Notes about Rembert IV von Bernefuer zu Querlenburg

In Lohne-Brockdorf in het kerspel Lohne bij Oldenburg in Niedersachsen zijn nog overblijfselen van een gracht, welke ooit het goed Querlenburg omgaf. Rond 1290 bestond al een 115 ha groot boerenerf. Deze is rond 1542 uitgebouwd tot een burcht, hoewel het altijd als een boerenerf bekend bleef. Het goed kwam voor het eerst in de 16e eeuw in adellijke handen toen Rembert Bernefür zu Querlenburg het goed door vererving verwierf. Later werd het goed geërfd door zijn schoonzoon Johan Dorgelo. (bron: wiki-de.genealogy.net/Haus_Querlenburg). Het goed werd in 1594 door hulptroepen van het Spaanse leger overvallen en leeggeroofd. Het goed werd door Johan Dorgelo doorgegeven aan zijn schoonzoon Evo von Jemgum. Behoudens de overblijfselen van de gracht bestaat het goed niet meer.
