Bijzoderheden:Hij wordt samen met zijn moeder Elizabeth Kooijman (weduwe van Cornelis Ippel) wonende in De Werken verbaliseerd wegens diefstal van een aantal appelen gepleegd in oktober 1817 bij dag in De Werken. De zaak schijnt een misverstand te zijn over het recht van eigendom en gebruik van de betreffende boomgaard, dan wel dat het ging om een voornemen om diefstal te plegen. Beiden worden vrijgesproken.
