Dolf gaat op 15-02-1908 als wever van Enschede naar Nordhorn. Op 14-11 komt hij weer terug. Op 17-08-1909 gaat hij weer naar Nordhorn. Later gaat hij naar Lonneker, en gaat op 09-03-1912 weer naar Enschede. Op 01-07-1912 vertrekt hij naar Horstmar [D], en komt op 15-04-1914 terug uit Viersen naar Enschede. Na zijn huwelijk (Bontje is ruim 5 maanden zwanger) verhuizen ze op 28-09-1915 naar Lonneker. Hij is dan nog steeds wever. Op 02-01-1923 verhuizen ze weer naar Enschede, Wilhelminastraat 68. Na hun echtscheiding (De kinderen blijven waarschijnlijk bij Bontje) gaat Dolf op 18-12-1924 naar Lonneker. Hij woont daar met zijn latere vrouw Maria Coenders in bij de familie Arnoldus Boll. Maria is op 23-01-1923 uit Vaals gekomen. Zij is huisnaaister. Kort na hun huwelijk verhuizen ze op 30-03-1925 naar Enschede. Zijn beroep is dan Kammeninhanger. Zij is huisnaaister.
