    Funeral services will be conducted over the body of William Doornbos at the family residence near Pontiac at 10 o'clock Sunday. Burial will take place in Clifford cemetery.

    Mr. Doornboss died at 10 o'clock Friday morning. He was 59 years old and a native of Holland. He had lived in Butler county for more than 30 years and was one of the most extensive farmers and stockraisers in this section.

    He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Anna Nichols, Eureka, Edward Doornbos, Douglass, John Doornboss, Rosalia; Mrs. Frano Kimball, El Dorado, Harry Doornboss, Mrs. Emma Manka, Chelsea, Mrs. Celia Rogalsky, Keighley, Mrs. May Manka, Colorado, Virgil Doornboss, Rosalia; Arthur Doornboss, El Dorado, Mrs. Jessie Siegrist and Mrs. Stella Siegrist, Pontiac. (Walnut Valley Times, Novembe
    r 24, 1916).
