Zij kregen geen kinderen. Over haar tante Lisa en nonkel Louis vertelde Agnes Antonis in september 2016 het volgende: "Nonkel Louis van tante Lisa was kapper of coiffeur. Zij werkte mee in de kapsalon, maar ze kletste meer dan dat zij werkte. Zij kon ook kant klossen. Tante Lisa had veel weg van mijn grootvader. Zij was ook altijd veel te dik, veel dikker dan ik ooit geweest ben. Zij zat dan ook op een dubbele stoel. Ze was een heel lief mens, oergezellig en heel vrijgevig. Ze gaf alles af. Als je van een schilderij bij haar zei: "dat vind ik heel mooi", dan zei zij: "neem maar mee!" Dan trok ze zich er niks van aan, dat ze dat af moest geven. Nonkel Louis en tante Lisa waren alle twee zo gemoedelijk, dat ik denk dat hij dat allemaal goed vond. Zij leerde mij ook vrijgevig te zijn en te denken aan andere mensen. Eens kwamen er zigeuners aan de deur, met een meisje erbij. Tante Lisa zei toen dat ik het mooiste wat ik had, mijn lievelingspop, moest weggeven. Dat deed me toen wel zeer, maar later begreep ik het wel beter. Tante Mit was ernstiger en héél proper. Bij tante Lisa moest je eerst een stoel vrijmaken om te kunnen gaan zitten. Zij was juist heel slordig.
Tante Lisa en nonkel Louis woonden in het midden van de Victoriestraat. Zij hadden nog een kleine cour waar het gemak was, een latrine of wc van een plank met een gat erin. En elk jaar werd de ontlasting weggehaald. Dan maakte ik wel dat ik weg was!"
