Het bruidspaar had tevoren ingeleverd hun geboorteakten, een certificaat van de Nationale Militie dat Lammert aan zijn verplichtingen voldaan had en certificaten dat de huwelijksafkondigingen in Lochem en Vorden zonder stuiting afgelopen waren.( Lammert woonde in Vorden.)
