Johanna Harmina woonde met haat ouders eerst aan de Barlheze B121a, waar ze waarschijnlijk ook geboren is. Op een niet nader genoemde datum verliet ze het ouderlijk huis. Ze ging werken als inwonende meid bij de rentenier Willem Peter Justus de Ridder, Laar D7. Van daar verhuisde ze naar Markt E368 waar ze in dienst kwam bij Peter Hendrik Derk Revelman, banketbakker. Haar volgende adres was Waterstraat C19, waar ze meid was bij de koopman Jozeph Jacob Cohen. Hierna keerde ze voor een poosje terug naar haar ouderlijk huis en werd daarna meid bij Willem Gerritsen, commies ter secretarie, Raadhuissteeg C214. Dit alles voor 1861.
Vanaf 16 januari 1872 werd ze ingeschreven op het gezinsblad van haar man. Ze woonden vanaf die datum Hogestraatje D141a, Spiegelstraat B119a, Larepoortstraat D81a, Berkelsingel D81a en D90a, Ziekenhuissteeg D386, Graaf Ottosingel D116 en Hogestraatje D163. Op 3 juli 1890 wordt een nieuw gezinsblad opgemaakt. Ze wonen dan nog steeds Hogestraatje D163.Daarna Graaf Ottosingel D329c en Polsbroek D344 en D320a.
