    Voor het gerecht van Willige Langerak zijn verschenen:
    Cornelis de Bode wonende te Willige Langerak tegenover Arij de Bode wonende te Willige Langerak en Diliaantje de Bode met haar man Cornelis van Zuijdam beide wonende in in land van Stein.

    Joost de Bode, de vader van Cornelis, Arij en Deliaantje de Bode heeft op 21 februari 1774 voor 7 getuigen zijn testament opgemaakt. Zijn vrouw Jannetje de Groot is hierbij aangesteld tot erfgenaam in de goederen. Ze krijgt lijftocht over de overige goederen die hij haar niet mag geven.

    Op 27 februari 1774 om 3 uur ’s middags is Joost de Bode overleden.

    Jannetje de Groot heeft op 19 augustus 1774 haar testament laten opmaken voor Schout, schepenen en secreatris. Hierin geeft ze haar kinderen Arie en Deliaantje de keuze om in plaats van hun legitieme portie uit de nalatenschap 100 gulden te ontvangen. Haar zoon Cornelis, die altijd kosteloos gewerkt heeft voor zijn vader Joost, zou enig en universeel erfgenaam worden in alle overige natelate goederen. Jannetje de Groot is overleden op 25 december 1777.

    Arij en Deliaantje zijn het niet eens met hun deel uit de erfenis. Om geen verdere gerechtelijke procedures te hoven starten, is er een overeenkomst bereikt. Het volgende wordt overeengekomen:

    Cornelis de Bode zal alle boedel en nalatenschap van zijn ouders als eigendom krijgen en zal alle daarbij behorende schulden en lasten op zich nemen.

    Arij en Deliaantje krijgen als hun aandeel in de erfenis een bedrag van 600 guldens, en zij bevestigen dat dit bedrag ontvangen is.
