Dat een stamboom nooit af is het uitgangspunt. Met enige regelmaat worden de gegevens aangepast, gecorrigeerd en uitgebreid. Door publicatie wordt de mogelijkheid geschapen om met andere amateur genealogen gegevens uit te wisselen en de stamboom bij te werken.
Door ontdekkingen in november 2010 is de stamboom Boas m.b.t. de joodse afstamming sterk gewijzigd. Aan de hand van onder meer oude transportaktes en testamenten is er veel meer informatie over de familie Boas in de 18e eeuw gevonden, onder andere het Stadsarchief Amsterdam, Het Utrechts Archief en het Regionaal Archief Leiden. Deze documenten worden nog bestudeerd.
