Notice to the death was done by Cornelis van Zwaay, 60 year, occupation labourer and by Gradus Degens, 36 year, occupation labourer, both resided in Renkum.

The marriage proposal took place in Dodewaard and in Wageningen on the 22nd and 29th of November 1835. The wedding was at 12.00 hr. witness to the marriage were J. van de Voorden, 50 year, L. Rutten, 41 year, H. Buossen, 35 year and P. Peppels, 50 year. All witnesses were tobacconists. The mother of the bride and bridegroom declared that they were not able to read or write. By the marriage-appendix was an excerpt of consent which also mentioned the marriage document.
The transcript of this excerpt was: 13th division Infantry. Permission for marriage. The Lieutenant Colonel Commander of the 13th Division Infantry, hereby we grand permission of the marriage of Corporal Theodorus Angenent, fusilier by the branch of this division of the draft year 1828 with the explicit stipulation that his wife, in case of war, under no circumstances follows the Corps. The person who enters into matrimony with the named Angenent is requested corresponding to the existing directions of the execution to adjudicate this also. Data in Maastricht the 29th of October 1835. the above-mentioned Lieutenant Colonel, by absence of the same the Major ( signature illegible ).
