KOUDENBURGERWEG(BALLUM)
Pad oostelijk van de Oosterhiemweg lopend vanaf de Verbindingsweg naar het noorden. Het loopt evenwijding aan de Oosterhiemweg. Genoemd naar het gebied ten oosten van de Ooster-hiemweg, het Kòdenburch. Dit pad werd door sommige boeren ook wel het "Twiede Kòdenburchpâd" genoemd. In de 17e eeuw was Harmen Minnes eigenaar van dit gebied. Hij gebruikte in aktes dan ook wel de achternaam "Koudenburg, Coudenburg en Coldenburgh". Of de familie de naam aan het gebied heeft gegeven of dat de familiede naam van het gebied heeft gebruikt dat is niet bekend. Harmen Minnes was gehuwd met Jancke Gerrits.

MIDDELWEG
De Middelweg liep vroeger van de Koudenburgerweg naar de strandweg van Ballum, daar wordt deze de Paasduinenweg genoemd. Volgens de kaart zou dit pad "Wittereepsdwarsweg" heetten. Volgens de gegevens van het Amelander woordenboek zou de naam "Middelwech" moeten zijn. Door enkele Hollumer boeren werd dit ook wel het "Groatslechtpâd genoemd. Naar het gebied ten noordwesten van Ballum, nu het westelijke deel van het vliegveld. Het "Groatslecht". (zie ook tekst Wittereepweg)
