NB. In 1811 werd formeel gekozen voor de achternaam van moeder Antje. Opvallend bij de naamgeving van de kinderen is het feit dat niemand vernoemd is naar de kant van Jacob Jans! Zijn ouders waren Jan Geerts en Welmoed Jacobs, grootvaders Geert en Jacob. Die namen komen we geen van allen tegen! Van Antjes kant worden vernoemd: vader Daniel, moeder en grootmoeder Grietje, grootvader en oom Pieter, grootvader Claas. Waar Martje en Luitje vandaan komen blijft gissen, maar het lijkt logisch de kant van Antje Pilon af te maken, dus: grootmoeder Martje en overgrootvader Luitje. In een schemaatje:
