Notes about Antonia ROOSTERMAN


Enige dochter van Ludolph Roosterman, die niet onvermogend was. Bij de ondertrouw in Rotterdam (28-1-1680) woont Antonia aan de Hoogstraat, haar echtgenoot te Westnieuwlant. Na het overlijden van haar echtgenoot verkoopt zij het pand aan de Leuvehaven nr 4201, dat zij via hem erfde van haar schoonvader, aan Abraham Back. De boedel van Antonia omvat bij haar overlijden onder meer een buitenplaats met 33 morgen land aan de noordzijde van Bodegraven, pakhuizen en een woning in Rotterdam, obligaties en rentebrieven. Afgezien van al het onroerend goed beloopt haar erfenis in 1741 vele honderdduizenden guldens, die onder Anna en Isaac verdeeld worden.

Een aanwijzing voor de goddsdienstige voorkeur van mevrouw Roosterman (en haar kinderen) vormt de overdracht van obligaties ter waarde van duizenden guldens aan de Mennoniete gemeente.

Bij overlijden beschreven als: ဘAnthonia Elsevier-Rosterman, weduwe van wijlen dမHr Abraham Elsevier, op ဘt Janskerkhoff. Laat na: mondige kinderenမ. Wijze van begraven: ဘGesonken, het waapen gehangen: ƒ 24,- en 16 ellen laken gescheurt. ƒ 250,- ƒ 125,-.မ Zo, dat is pas een begrafenis!
