Question/answer » How do I make a GEDCOM from GensDataPro?

With GensDataPro 3, the creation of a Gedcom file including all file references and references to the passport photos is included in the option 'File – Export – Gedcom with passport photos'. The GEDCOM file is placed in a compressed folder (zip file) together with the accompanying passport photos. This zip file, named .zip, is located in the specially created folder 'GedcomMetThumbs' in the datagd1 folder, or a subfolder thereof, which also contains your GD3 file. The zip file created by GensDataPro can then be uploaded from Genealogy Online.

More information about this can be found on the GensDataPro website under the item 'Gedcom with passport photos' on the Frequently Asked Questions – GedCom output page.

Information for users of GensDataPro 2.9.9.5 and older versions can be found on the GensDataPro website under the item 'Publication at Genealogy Online' on the Information – GensDataPro 2.9 page.
