Itje hertrouwde in 1810 Eilke Bartelds HOUWINGA, overleden Vierhuizen 21-02-1850. Eilke was een gefortuneerde doopsgezinde boer. Met hem breidde ze de boerderij Menneweer uit tot een bedrijf met ruim 151 juk grond.
