De zoektocht naar onze voorouders is nog niet klaar. We hebben in onze zoektocht tot nu toe veel hulp gehad van familieleden die nog in leven zijn, maar ook van collega genealogen die gegevens van onze voorouders al in hun eigen genealogie hadden staan. Wij willen alle mensen die een bijdrage hebben geleverd in onze zoektocht heel erg bedanken. In het bijzonder Tjeerd Okke Sappé die in zijn archief veel foto's heeft van onze voorouders. Zonder zijn kennis van de familie was de tak Sappé nooit zo ver gevorderd.
Ook mijn grote dank aan Willem Hovinga voor de mooie foto's die hij maakt van grafstenen.Last but nog least mijn dank aan mijn mentor in de genealogie dhr Ed Baks. Zonder zijn tips en ervaring was ik er misschien allang mee gestopt.

Wij hopen dat we andere genealogen net zo kunnen helpen als dat wij geholpen zijn.
