Notitie bij Neeltje: Johannes Jacobus POSTHUMUS, geboren te Haarlem [1] op 4 december 1863, overleden te Rotterdam op 14 januari 1942 [2], bootwerker en nadien bootwerkerbaas, schoenmaker, suikerbakker en caf?houder in de Boekhorststraat in Rotterdam, huwt op 24 jarige leeftijd te Rotterdam op 16 mei 1888 [3] Neeltje VAN RINGELESTIJN, geboren te Meerkerk op 13 augustus 1865 en bij haar huwelijk wonende te Meerkerk [4], oud 22 jaar bij haar huwelijk, overleden te Rotterdam op 7 februari 1954 [5
Neeltje is minderjarige dochter van Arie VAN RINGELESTIJN, winkelier en Catharina SCHIEBERGEN, beide wonende te Meerkerk. Bij zijn inschrijving in Rotterdam op 30 januari 1886 met aantekening "G.K".
Op 9 oktober 1878 is Johannes Jacobus POSTHUMUS schoenmaker. Hij kwam daarvoor - alleen - uit Nieuwer-Amstel (Amstelveen). Johannes Jacobus POSTHUMUS vertrekt uit Neerbosch naar Ouderkerk aan de Amstel op 7 april 1880.
Hij had vermoedelijk een caf? in de Boekhorststraat in Rotterdam. Eerst hebben zij in de Agnietenstraat gewoond, daarna in de Vijverhofstraat. Johannes Jacobus POSTHUMUS en Neeltje VAN RINGELESTIJN woonden aan de Vijverhofstraat 157b te Rotterdam, waar hij overleed. Hun dochter Antonia Catharina POSTHUMUS en schoonzoon Jan BURGERHOUT woonden tijdens WO-II boven hen aan de Vijverhofstraat 157c te Rotterdam. Toos VAN RINGESTIJN, haar zuster, woonde boven en Neeltje beneden. Deze straat ligt langs de spoorlijn van Hofplein via Pijnacker naar Den Haag.
Neeltje VAN RINGELESTIJN was vanaf haar 21ste jaar reumapati?nt, woonde tijdens haar laatste levensjaren in een verpleegtehuis, werd gedurende haar hele leven geholpen door haar dochter en kleindochter, kreeg kanker en overleed op 94-jarige leeftijd.
Johannes Jacobus POSTHUMUS en Neeltje VAN RINGELESTIJN liggen beiden begraven in het familiegraf op de Algemene Begraafplaats Crooswijk te Rotterdam.
