Arnoldus Johannes was Directeur der Vrije School voor Middelbaar-, Hooger- en Handelsonderwijs "Instituut Ort" . Hij woonde laatstelijk Witte de Withstraat 27 te Rotterdam. Hij werd als Directeur opgevolgd door zijn zus Elisabeth Louise Clasina Ort. N.B. : Johan Willem Ort (X. 1.4.3.4.2.2.3.5.3.) zat anno 1920 op het Instituut Ort en haalde daar zijn eindexamen HBS in maart 1921!! Daarna werd hij dat zelfde jaar benoemd tot Adelborst der Zeedienst te den Helder.Zie verder bij Johan Willem Ort, geboren 1902 te Meester Cornelis, die gesneuveld is in 1940 als Commandant van Hr.Ms. O-22.
