This is a tree representation of the GEDCOM 5.5 grammar ("2 January 1986" version - see Which GEDCOM 5.5 grammar is valid?). Filled circles can be clicked to show the sub-tags.
This representation of tag-sequences is not complete, as there is a cycle in the grammar (<<NOTE_STRUCTURE>> references <<SOURCE_CITATION>> and vice versa) it cannot be complete.
The data (eg. list of valid tag-sequences) is available for download in JSON and CSV format under a CC-BY license.
A tag tree of the the GEDCOM 5.5.1 grammar is also available. Go to the GEDCOM tag usage version of the tree to see actual (mis)use of GEDCOM tags by family tree programs.
