== Biography ==Nicholas Gardiner was born about 1650, the son of [[Gardiner-38|George]] and [[Long-161|Herodias]] Gardiner of Newport, Rhode Island. Nicholas married Hannah (unknown) around 1690. Nicolas and Hannah had three children:

=== Marriage ===All three of the major turn of the century Gardiner genealogies cite a circa 1680-1690 marriage between Nicholas Gardiner and a woman named Hannah, but none of these genealogies provide a maiden surname.
