Hi Wes, we are 2nd cousins, as your Grandmother Hannah was my Grandfather's (John Jacob Harris) sister.
I am trying to get some info re his side of the family. I believe they were horse breeders from Tipperary, but I cant confirm it. I was also led to believe there was a Sir Percy, a baronet from Fleetwood or ?.
Anyhow I have some photos of them, and a picture of (who I believe to be ) George Button Darling, taken around 1885 when mum went back to Dublin. If you would like copies of the pics, and any info I have I would be only too happy to forward it all to you.
I am finding this so very interesting and exciting.
Do you know my cousins who are still in Dublin ? Surnames of Kershaw, Towell and Dempsey,
they are the children of Ilene Harris who married Jimmy Kershaw. I have cousins over here too in Australia,
children of Maude aka Mary Harris who married Alby Watson.
