Three marriages took place at roughly the same period - 1815-1817. Each was the marriage of a William Harvey.
March 25, 1815 at Finsbury St. Luke Old Street Marriages, William Ha rvey + Sarah Howitt.
April 11, 1816 at Westminster St. Martin in the Fields Marriages, William Harvey + Sarah Harvey.
December 28, 1817 at Shoreditch St. Leonards Marriages, William Harvey + Sarah Skerrett.
The only certainty in the above, is that one Sarah is a Welsh lady and, that one is the only one to concern me in my research. After makin g enquiries at Pembrokeshire Records Office, three areas in Wales had Harvey's in them, there were no Howitt's or Skerrett's found. Although the searches made by Pembroke were only cursive, I feel tha t the most likely lady is Sarah Harvey!
In the 1841 Census, William and Sarah were at the Fair Street address. Living with them were :-
William 20 Son, Felix 20 Son-in-law, Wil liam 1 Grandson, Mary 20 Daughter, Eliza 15 Daughter,
Eliza 2 Granddaughter, Eliza 1 month (I believe Granddaughter - maybe the daughter of 20 year old William, but no mention of Mary Ann Turner who married William).
In the 1851 Census, William and Sarah were at another address in Fair Street, living with them were:-
Eliza 27 Daughter, Felix 33 Son-in-law, William 11 Grandson, Eliza 10 Granddaughter, Caroline 8 Grand-
-daughter, Henry 7 Grandson, Sophia 2 Granddaughter, Edward 5 months.
In the 1861 Census, at 2 Wellesley Street, Felix and E liza had living with them:-
William 21 Son, Eliza 20 Daughter, Henry 17 Son, Sophia 12 Daughter, Edward 10 Son, Mary Ann 8
Daughter, John 6 Son, Francis 3 Son, Felix 67 Father, William 76 Uncle, Sarah 73 Aunt, (the ages of William and Sarah are back to front - should be 73 and 76)
