Oorzaak: suicide when he lost his furtune due to the stock market crash
Hij is getrouwd met Rae Steinberg.
Zij zijn getrouwd voor april 1906 te Odessa, Ukraine.Bron 5
Kind(eren):
Abraham married Rae in Odessa when she was 16, so Rae and Lillian her daughter, were 17 years apart and great friends. Doris Levinson knew them all growing up. Her parents were very social and there was a lot of visiting through the years.
The big painting that Barrie Levinson has, was bought on one of Uncle Misrock's trips to Europe, I guess. Possibly Uncle Misrock knew the artist, since he was also from Odessa and they are of the same age. The samovar was also theirs. It is extremely interesting that you found a passport application for him in December 1922, as Uncle Misrock was in Europe when his sister Rose and her children arrived in NY, which presented quite a problem on Ellis Island.
Abraham had a thriving business in Manhattan and was quite wealthy for a time. ( A group of women's stores called Misrock's on the Upper West Side (Broadway).
