Zij is getrouwd met Marmaduke Darley.
Zij zijn getrouwd in het jaar 1656 te Ferinsbie, Farnham, Yorkshire, zij was toen 20 jaar oud.
parents possible Thomas & Sarah Wyndham wife possible Mary GLASSCOCK I have traced my DARLEY line back to my 6xGGrandfather Francis DARLEY born at Low Hall, Ferrensbie and christened at Farnham in 1658. He had 7 younger siblings who were also christened there at Farnham. All this I found out from a film of the book "The Farnham Registers" which I borrowed from the LDS church. This Register was commenced in the late 1650s. The parents of these children were listed in the Register as Marmaduke DARLEY and Alice. This couple are my granite mountain as I cannot find out anything anywhere about them. There is a theory that, as had happened in another DARLEY line, Marmaduke was not a DARLEY but married Alice DARLEY and took her name in return for a substantial dowry, which might have included the purchase of Low Hall, in order to perpetuate the name. When Marmaduke died in 1683 he had a sizeable estate that was detailed in his will. I would therefore like to put the following questions to the list. 1) Are there any known records of Farnham Parish prior to the 1650s? 2) Do any of you have a Mamaduke in your tree who married Alice DARLEY in the 1650? 3) Are there any other suggestions of any line of inquiry that I can follow? 4) Are there any records or websites dealing with the history of Low Hall, which I believe is still standing? Many thanks to those who have reached this far for me, Les Darley (Perth, Western Australia)
