Dear Mr. van Rooy!

I found your ancestors in the church-books of Wüllen, nowadays a part of Ahaus. It was not very easy, because they spelt their name in different ways. I hope I can make it clear for you. If not, please ask me again.

On sunday, 31.5.1682 Johan Wibbenfelt married Ahle Schwiters. But Johan Wibbenfelt died soon - before 1694 - and Ahle Schwiters married again. (I tell you this, because Ahle belons to your ancestors and her second husband used sometimes the name Wibbenfelt)

Ahle Wibbenfelt (that is Ahle Schwiters) married at the 22.2.1694 Otto Berenbroik ( that is another form of the name Barenburg). (Otto Berenbroick lived at last till 1714, because he was in that year under the name Otto Barenbrugg widness by another wedding) They had 4 children:

Anna Catharina, born 30.1.1695; her father's name is Otto Wibbenfelt, her mother's name is Ahle

Johan Herman, born 4.3.1696; his father's name is Otte Wibbenfelt, her mother's name is Ahle; he married 21.2.1719 Gesina Ahlmering

Heidenricus, born 5.10.1702; his father's name is Otto Badenbrugk, his Mother's name is Aleid Switering; I think Heidenricus married as Heidenrich Wippenfeld 4.8.1729 Getrud Almer. I am not 100 per cent sure, but it looks like.

Joan Henrich, born 15.4.1706; his father's name is Otto Barenbrug; his mother's name is Aleid Schwiters. I think that this is your ancestor Henderik Barenburg.

All these informations are from the church archive in Wüllen, which starts in 1669. There are no informations which are older than 1669. There is no information when Otto
Barenburg and Ahle/Aleid Schtiers/Schwitering/wibbenfeld/Barenburg died.

If you want to find something Geertruij (=Gertrud) ten Braak you have to write to Schaumburg.
