Peter H. Vanden Heuvel, 315 W. Lincoln Ave., Little Chute, age 79, died unexpectedly at 5:45 PM Saturday. He was born November 22, 1895 in Little Chute. He had been employed by the Kimberly Clark Corp. until his retirement in 1958. He was a member of the American Legion Post 258, Little Chute and the Kimberly Clark Quarter Century Club. He had served in the U S Army durin World War I.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Hermsen, Little Chute, Mrs. Ray (Martha) Heidel, Kaukauna, Mrs. Ted (Jule) Huiting, Little Chute, Mrs. James (Mona) Bouressa, Neenah; a son, Dick, Little Chute; three brothers, Ted, Kimberly, Chris, Appleton, and Ed, Little Chute; three sisters, Mrs. Al. (Hattie) Wynboom , and Mrs. Norbert (Josephine ) Hietpas, both of Little Chute, Mrs. Henry (Ella) Vander Loop, Rt. 5, Appleton; 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Two brothers, Simon and John preceded him in death. The funeral will be at 10AM, Tuesday from St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute with the Rev. Norbert Vand Loo, the Rev. Bertrand Ebben, as celebrants. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, after 3 PM Monday. The American Legion Prayer service will be held at 7 PM Monday with the parish prayer service at 7:30 PM. Military rites will follow the mass Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established.
