Obbe Veentjer was head of the family, age 37, a farmer, and his wife was Anna, age 29, both born in Holland and were Dutch speaking. They immigrated in 1916. Obbe had submitted his 1st papers to become a USA citizen. Three of their children, 1 son and 2 daughters, were born in Holland: Obbe P. H., son, age 7; and daughters, Maria, age 6, and Hubertina, age 3. Two other children, daughters, were listed in the family as Hendrika, age 2, and Elisa, age 1 year, both born in Montana.
