Adopted
6 yrs of age, due to a severe injury obtained at school
Little Clarence Kuyper who's injury was reported in the Reporter (Boyden) of last week passed away after several days of intense suffering Tuesday evening at half past five o'clock. He was six years of age and was the adopted son of Mr and Mrs A Kuyper who loved him as one of their own. The funeral service was preached on Tuesday afternoon and the services were conducted in both the Holland and American language. The church was filled with sympathizing friends and Neighbors. Little Clarence was very bright and lovable little boy and was very patient in the suffering that ws his lot in the last few days and had a smile for those who were trying to alleviate his suffering, even when in severe pain. It is too bad his young life had to go out. We extend our deepest sympathies to the sorrowing friends in thier hour of sorrow. Mr and Mrs Kuyper are very grateful to the many friends who assisted them in many was durring the illness and death of the little one, and desire to express their appreciation to all.

Little Clarence Kuyper who was a few days ago kicked by a pony, and who had never completely rallied from the effects of that terrible accident, joined the majority Monday evening. Everything that was possible was done to save the little fellow's life, but to no avail, and that messenger who knocks impartially at the door of all came quietly Monday evening with the summons, for death had set his seal upon him. That his life, surrounded by so many comforts to make life attractive, should end so pitifully and untimely saddens our hearts. Mr. & Mrs. Kuyper have the sympathy of all.
