Henrietta Hamstra, age 81, of Bellingham died at her home on Monday,Aug. 9, 2004.
Henrietta was born in Lynden on Jan. 1, 1923, a daughter of Martin andMaggie (Memmelaar) Hamstra. She grew up in Lynden and graduated fromLynden High School. For 27 years she was employed at the Georgia-Pacific tissue mill in Bellingham.
A member of Second Christian Reformed Church of Lynden, Henrietta was anavid sports fan and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
She is survived by sisters Margaret Hamstra of Lynden and Emma Banker of Seattle; brother Ed Hamstra of Lynden; and numerous nieces, nephews andfriends.
She was preceded in death by sisters Nellie Honcoop and Jean DeVries andbrothers John, Ben, Martin, Andrew and Calvin Hamstra.
