I have restored this family as it as constructed through the registers and wills.WILL:He left a will (PCC film 92151 pg 120) written 11 July 1641 and probated 30 Oct 1641. The will was probated by James Waight and William Waker. His wife was Anne. His eldest son was William who was a minor younger than 21 and to receive land in Ashburnham and Catsfield. His son John was younger than 21 and was to receive land in Brightling from John Wimble the father of the testator when he died. He had daughters Elizabeth Wimble, Anne Wimblel (younger than 18), Joane Wimble (younger than 18),Dorothy Wimble (younger than 18 and Bridgett Wimble (younger than 18) - the last two Dorothy and Bridgett being the 2 youngest daughters. He gives money to his grandmother Catherine Wimble. The testator had brothers James Wimble (has a daughter Mary Wimble and 3 more children) and John Wimble (has 4 children). His youngest sisters were Mary, Joan and Elizabeth. He mentions William Skinner who has the son of this brother in law Richard Skinner. Richard Skinner has 3 more children. He lists Ann Waterer who is the daughter of his sister Waterer and she also had 1 more child. His brother in law is William Walker who has a daughter Constance Walker and 3 more children. He leaves a bequest to his sister Elizabeth's daughter unnamed. Apparently a Richard Apps of Speldhurst holds some of his land. James Weight and William Walker seem to be listed as having interest in his goods - possibly are trustees. The coexec of the will are his friend James Weight and his brother in law William WalkerBoth parents and grandparents are proven by his will attached as a source below:Since William (per his will) gave money to his grandmother Catherine Wimble - it proves his grandparents were Robert Wimble and Katherine Tyndall. He mentions all of his siblings which ties him to his parents John & Alice WimbleIn order to fill the terms of the will some land transfers occurred:William died in 1641. He left his land in Ashburnham to his eldest son William. James Wimble and Richard Apps transferred their interests in some land to William Wimble junior. One of the deeds signed in Oct 1642 says they were doing so to enable William to raise Money to pay his sisters Anne, Joan, Dorothy and Bridgett the portions due them from their father's will. William's sister Elizabeth, then 18, had married William Eston of Ninfield on 7 June of that year and presumably had already received her marriage portion
